I’m Angela Anderson — the founder and designer behind Angela Anderson Interiors, a boutique residential design studio based in Colorado Springs. As a Colorado interior designer, I create thoughtful, cohesive interiors that blend modern mountain style with everyday livability. My interior design philosophy is rooted in clarity, intention, and a deep understanding of how homes should feel: warm, functional, and connected to the natural beauty that surrounds them.
I believe in creating spaces that feel harmonious from the outside in. With a signature aesthetic shaped by Colorado’s landscape, I gravitate toward mountain modern design and curated simplicity — all while ensuring your home feels like you.
I’m known for a streamlined, highly organized design process that helps clients make confident decisions from concept through construction. I translate design ideas into clear, buildable direction for both homeowners and their construction teams. The result is more than a beautiful concept—it’s a thoughtfully developed plan that considers scale, proportion, materials, installation details, and how each element works together in the finished space. This level of documentation helps reduce costly changes, minimize uncertainty in the field, and keep homeowners, builders, and trades aligned throughout the project. Whether you’re remodeling, furnishing a single room, or building from the ground up, I bridge the gap between the creative vision and the technical details required to bring it to life.
I hold formal training through the New York Institute of Art & Design with a Residential Interior Design Certification (RIDQC). Additionally, I have a master’s degree in industrial & organizational psychology and a bachelor’s degree in psychology — an unexpected but powerful foundation for understanding how people live, interact, and thrive in their spaces. Prior to launching my design studio, I spent 11 years in corporate human resources. That experience shaped my interior design philosophy today: one that emphasizes professionalism, structure, and a strong commitment to client experience.
I’m a Colorado native who has loved the mountains for as long as I can remember. When I’m not designing or working in CAD, you’ll find me hiking local trails, watching design shows, at the stables, cooking/baking, or spending time with friends & family. My favorite style to design is mountain modern design — creating interiors that feel serene and intentionally secondary to the real focal point: the mountain view.

This interior design philosophy is elevated yet relaxed, mixing organic textures, modern lines, browns, blacks, and neutrals.
